Getting submitted file versions
With Timeline, you can always return to any submitted version of the file that you are working on. When you get a previously submitted version, Timeline replaces the file on your local drive with the version from the repository and then opens this version in Photoshop.
You can get any of the existing versions of the file that is currently active in Photoshop by selecting the version that you need in Timeline window and then by pressing “Get version” button.
Important: when you get an existing version Timeline closes the file that you are working on and re-opens it after it is replaced with another version. Therefore prior to getting any version you will need to save and submit your changes into Timeline to prevent loss of your work. Whenever you try to get a previously submitted version and you have some unsaved changes, Timeline will warn you about it and will suggest you to save and submit your file.
