Activating timeline

Buying a license

You can evaluate Timeline for 30 days for free. If you wish to use Timeline beyond the trial period you must purchase a license.

Timeline is licensed on a per computer basis. If you are planning to use Timeline on 2 machines, you will need to purchase 2 licenses.

Activating your copy of Timeline

When you have purchased the license you will receive your license key. The license key will be displayed on the web page following the purchase confirmation, and it will also be emailed to you.

Once you get the key please open the Timeline menu and select the "Activate Timeline" menu item. The activation window will open up:

Please enter the name that you used for the purchase and your license key into this window.

Now you will need to activate your license. You can either activate Timeline online or via email. In the most cases you should use the "Activate online" option as it's quick and easy. Just press the "Next" button and your copy of Timeline will be activated.

If for some reasons online activation doesn't work for you it is possible to activate Timeline via email. Please select the "email" option and press "Next". You will see the email activation window:

Please copy your activation information into clipboard (you can use the "Copy" button). Now paste this information into a new email and send it to activation@pixelnovel.com. We will shortly send you the activation code.

Copy the activation code and paste it into the text box at the bottom of the window and press "Next". Your copy of Timeline is now activated!
